CIT Alumni Association Annual General Body Meeting held on 25th August 2011

  • CIT ALUMNI DAY - 2011

CIT Alumni Day 2011 was celebrated on Saturday, 12th March 2011 at CIT campus.  About 1700 Alumni including the newly registered final year students of CIT and CIT Sandwich Polytechnic College attended the celebrations.

 

Er. S. Kuppusamy, Vice President, CIT Alumni Association gave his welcome address.

 

The Chief Guest of the evening , Dr.M.J.Xavier, (CIT Alumnus-1976 Batch - B.Tech.Chemical Engg.), Director, Indian Institute of Management Ranchi gave his presidential address stressing the need for engineers to develop managerial skills.

 

Guest of Honour Er.V.Ramaraj(CIT Alumnus-1977 ECE), Chairman,OPAL Energy Solutions,Chennai delivered his address emphasizing the importance of  Industry Institute Tie-up and that he would share his expertise with CIT in the areas namely, Energy Conservation,  Renewable Energy and Semiconductor Technology,

 

Guest of Honour, Dr.V.Selladurai, Principal CIT & Patron, CITAA gave his felicitation address highlighting the fact that CIT’s name being etched at National level.

 

The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour presented the endowment awards to deserving students of CIT. Also Endowment Donors, Members of CITAA Coimbatore Chapter, CITAA Trichy Chapter, 1975 Batch Alumni, 1984 Batch Alumni and 1988 Batch Alumni presented their respective awards to deserving students of CIT.

 

Er. K. Ramachandran , President, CIT Alumni Association who presided over the meeting gave his presidential address  narrating the activities of CIT Alumni association and motivating the Alumni freshers. 

 

Er. K. Karam Chandhra Mohan, Secretary, thanked the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, CIT Alumni Association Executive Council members, all CIT alumni, and all those who contributed in making the celebrations a memorable one.

We come to know that some alumni find it difficult to access the alumni details in the  alumni website.

 

We wish to inform the members that to access the alumni details the procedure is as follows:

1. To view alumni details

Click "Search" to go to search page.

Enter your name (without initials) only, year of passing, degree and branch,

and then click 'search'.

Now  your name with initials, branch and year of passing will appear.

Click your name to view details.

 

2. To register alumni details

Click "Registration".

Enter your details in three pages.

In the third page enter your username, password etc. and click 'Save'.

Now your registration will go to CIT Alumni Administrator for approval.

After approval the alumni details can be obtained from "Search".

You may note down your username and password for any future updates.
